ISO 9001:2015
Quality Management System
For organisations in any sector seeking to standardise processes and manage customer expectations systematically.
ClassManagement system standard
Edition2015
What is this standard?
The sector-independent base standard specifying quality management system requirements. Many sector standards are built on top of ISO 9001.
Who is it for?
Organisations in all goods and services sectors.
What triggers an assessment?
- A customer or tender requires a quality system.
- Processes need to be standardised and made repeatable.
- You must pass a supplier assessment.
What does it not replace?
- Company formation or wanting to "look quality-focused" is not a sufficient trigger on its own; customer, process and scope are questioned.
- It does not substitute for product conformity such as CE marking.
