Most commonly confused in this field
Green Key and ISO 21401 are not the same record
Green Key is a separate programme organised by facility category; ISO 21401 is a management system standard for accommodation establishments.
ISO 20121 does not apply to hotels automatically
It is an event sustainability standard; for an accommodation business the event role is questioned separately.
Non-ISO programmes common in this field
These are not ISO standards; each has its own scheme owner, issuing body and rules. Whether they are candidates is decided by activity and buyer requirement.
