What is this programme?

A certification programme targeting primary production in agriculture, aquaculture and floriculture. Certificates are issued by independent bodies approved within an ISO/IEC 17065 scope.

Who is it for?

Farms, cooperatives, aquaculture producers and flower growers.

Who issues the certificate?

The certificate is issued by an independent body approved by GLOBALG.A.P. and accredited under ISO/IEC 17065.

What to verify before you accept it

Check the product, the production site, the target retailer, and the body's authorisation for that country and scope — each one separately.

What triggers an assessment?

  • An exporter or retailer requires it.
  • Farm, greenhouse or aquaculture production is carried out.
  • Fresh produce will be supplied to European retail chains.

What does it not replace?

  • It does not substitute for the national Good Agricultural Practices (İTU) programme; they are separate records.
  • It is not organic certification.
