The Vietnam National Accreditation Bureau (BoA — Văn phòng Công nhận chất lượng quốc gia) sits under the National Bureau for Standards, Metrology and Quality Directorate, itself under the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). BoA runs six programmes: VILAS, VILAS-Med, VICAS, VIAS, VIPAS, VIRAS.

OSH enforcement moved to the Ministry of Home Affairs
The Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (Law 84/2015/QH13, effective 1 July 2016) is Vietnam's OSH framework law. As of 1 March 2025, OSH regulatory functions moved from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Bộ Nội vụ) at provincial level, per a provincial government announcement — a national-level primary confirmation of this transfer has not yet been obtained, so the transfer is stated with that caveat, not as a settled national fact.
