What this library is

This site is published by FutureTechnologies ("the publisher", "we"). It is a reference library about certifications, standards, mandatory permits, incentive programmes and occupational safety, organised by ISO standard, certification scheme, industry sector and jurisdiction. Using it — browsing, searching or reading any page — means you accept these terms.

What using this library does and does not do

• It does not make you a client, and reading a record does not create a consulting, advisory or contractual relationship with the publisher.
• It does not certify anything. Only an accredited, independent certification body can issue a certificate; this library records who those bodies are and how to verify their work, and stops there.
• It is informational. A record here is a starting point for your own research, not a substitute for professional or legal advice specific to your situation.

Accuracy and verification

Every published record is checked against a primary source and dated at the time of that check (see the Editorial & Verification Policy). Sources change — a standard is revised, a register moves — and a record can fall out of date between checks. The publisher corrects records once a change is confirmed, but makes no warranty that any record is complete, current, or error-free at the moment you read it. Verify anything decision-relevant against the linked primary source before acting on it.

Intellectual property

The text, organisation and presentation of this library are the publisher's own work unless stated otherwise. The standards, schemes, laws and registers this library describes remain the property of the bodies that publish them; this library links to and cites those sources rather than reproducing them.

Every record links to the official source it was checked against. Those sources are operated by third parties the publisher does not control; the publisher is not responsible for their content or availability.
