What it requires
Law No. 7223 (accepted 5 March 2020, entered into force 12 March 2021), administered by the Ministry of Trade, harmonises Turkish product-safety rules with the EU acquis under the EU–Türkiye customs union. It establishes supply-chain traceability duties, recall obligations, and manufacturer/importer/distributor responsibilities, and bans exporting unsafe, adulterated or expired products.
