Businesses within the scope of animal-origin-food hygiene rules must hold an Approval Certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry rather than a plain Registration Certificate. ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 certification is a separate, voluntary standard and does not substitute for this legal registration or approval.
