What it requires
Türkiye is not an EU member state, but under its customs union with the EU since 1995, EU technical rules apply only once transposed into a Turkish instrument. Where third-party conformity assessment is required, Türkiye designates its own notified bodies through the Ministry of Trade, published on the EU's NANDO database — this is a conditional obligation, scoped to products covered by a harmonised technical regulation, not a blanket "CE is required in Türkiye" rule.
