What it requires

Reg. 6 of S.I. No. 22 of 2020 requires the registering authority to approve — not merely register — a food business whose activity falls within the scope of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004, Art. 4(3) (animal-origin food). Reg. 7 gives the registering authority power to suspend or cancel a registration or approval.
