IASME Cyber Assurance
IASME Cyber Assurance is a two-level UK certification for security governance, sold only to organisations holding a valid Cyber Essentials certificate. Level One is a self-completed assessment reviewed by an independent Assessor, and organisations must pass it before applying for Level Two Audited.

What it is
IASME Cyber Assurance is a certification owned by IASME, available in two levels: as IASME's own page states, "The IASME Cyber Assurance certification is available in two levels: Level One Verified Assessment and Level Two Audited. You must pass your Level One assessment before you apply for Level Two."
It is not sold on its own. IASME's page states: "To purchase IASME Cyber Assurance, your organisation must hold a valid Cyber Essentials certificate with at least one month remaining before its expiry. If your organisation does not currently have a valid Cyber Essentials certification, it will be automatically added to your basket at checkout."
The standard's scope adjusts to organisation size: IASME scales the assessment across four size bands, from sole trader through micro, small and medium-large.

IASME Cyber Assurance is owned and operated by IASME.
Who assesses it
For Level One, IASME's page states: "A senior member of the board or equivalent... must e-sign a document to confirm that all the answers provided are accurate. A qualified external Assessor will then review and mark your answers." Level One is therefore a self-completed assessment with independent Assessor review, not a pure self-declaration. Level Two's audit mechanism was not read in this session and is not described here.
