COBIT
COBIT is ISACA's framework for the governance and management of enterprise IT, currently COBIT 2019 — it is a framework, not a certificate. ISACA separately sells personal credentials built on COBIT, the COBIT Foundation Certificate and the COBIT Design and Implementation Certificate Program — these certify individuals, not organizations.

What it is
ISACA's own page titles COBIT as "COBIT® | Control Objectives for Information Technologies®" — this is ISACA's current official expansion of the abbreviation.
ISACA describes its purpose: "Discover why COBIT is still the premier framework for the governance and management of enterprise IT."
The current edition is COBIT 2019: ISACA states "COBIT 2019 is specifically designed to play well with others." COBIT 5 materials remain listed and accessible on the same ISACA page, but ISACA's page does not state that COBIT 5 is retired.
